Protinex, a leading protein brand from Danone India, is working to increase protein consumption nationwide. They are distributing Protinex packs to ASHA workers, key healthcare providers in underserved areas. For every 1,000 pledges received, Protinex, in collaboration with the Doctors For You Foundation, will donate a pack to an ASHA worker, empowering them to promote protein intake.
According to ICMR, we need 0.83 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight daily. However, 70% of Indian consumers lack sufficient protein. By providing Protinex to ASHA workers, Danone India aims to improve community health and raise awareness about the importance of protein.
This initiative is part of the Protinex Protein Abhiyaan, a campaign addressing protein deficiency in India. The program focuses on dispelling myths, organizing awareness events, and supporting communities. Protinex, committed to optimal nutrition, remains a leading choice for comprehensive protein intake and overall health and well-being across India.
