DHE Haryana Revises PG Admission Timeline for 2026–27 Session

DHE Haryana Revises PG Admission Timeline for 2026–27 Session

The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Haryana, has extended the postgraduate admission schedule for the 2026–27 academic session, giving students additional time to complete registration, make corrections and finish document verification. The revised timeline is expected to provide relief to applicants who faced technical difficulties, documentation delays or needed more time to finalise their programme preferences.

Under the updated schedule, online registration will remain open until August 21, 2026, while applicants can edit their forms until August 22. The deadline for document verification and resolving discrepancies is August 23, which is also when the provisional merit list is scheduled to be released. The final merit list is expected on August 24.

Candidates selected in the first admission round will have to submit their fees between August 25 and 27. Physical counselling for remaining vacant seats is scheduled to begin from August 28.

The extension is particularly useful for students who have not yet completed their applications or need to rectify errors. Applicants should carefully check personal details, academic information and uploaded certificates to ensure that everything corresponds with their official records. Category certificates and other supporting documents, wherever required, should also be valid and submitted in the prescribed format.

After registration, students should regularly monitor their verification status and the publication of merit lists. Those allotted seats must complete fee payment and other institutional formalities within the stipulated period. Candidates who are not selected during the initial round should continue following official updates, as vacant seats may be filled through subsequent physical counselling.

Applicants are advised to avoid common errors such as last-minute registration, incomplete document uploads, incorrect information and missed fee deadlines. Keeping copies of the submitted application and payment receipt can also prove useful during later stages.

With the revised schedule, DHE Haryana has created a wider window for prospective postgraduate students to complete the admission process. Candidates should use the additional time wisely, verify all details and follow official notifications closely to ensure they do not miss any important stage of the admission cycle.
