K Raheja Corp’s ‘Ekta Ki Dhun’ Celebrates Unity Through Music

K Raheja Corp has continued its Independence Day storytelling tradition with the launch of Ekta Ki Dhun, a musical film celebrating unity and collective spirit. Marking the group’s fourth consecutive Independence Day campaign, the film uses the familiar melody of Vande Mataram and brings together five of its businesses through an innovative stomp-band performance.

The campaign features employees, customers, partners and labourers creating music with everyday objects and materials found across construction sites, offices, homes, hotels, malls and retail outlets. By transforming ordinary workplace and operational elements into musical instruments, the film highlights how people from diverse backgrounds and business environments can come together to create a common rhythm.

Ekta Ki Dhun follows three earlier Independence Day films by K Raheja Corp — Pragati Ki Dhun, Azadi Ki Dhun and Desh Ki Dhun. Building on this annual creative initiative, the latest film focuses specifically on the idea of unity, showing how different businesses, people and locations can contribute individual sounds to form one harmonious composition.

The musical brings together Mindspace REIT, K Raheja Corp Homes, Chalet Hotels, Inorbit Malls and Shoppers Stop. Each business environment contributes its own distinctive sounds, with construction materials, office supplies, household objects, hospitality equipment, mall fixtures and retail elements incorporated into the stomp-band rendition.

The production also features K Raheja Corp employees who are trained musicians. They performed live alongside the stomp band, combining conventional musical instruments with sounds generated from everyday objects to create the final composition.

Conceptualised by K Raheja Corp’s Corporate Communications team, Ekta Ki Dhun was composed by music director Sanket Sane and directed by filmmaker Alok Sutar.

Through this creative initiative, the company seeks to underline a broader message: despite differences in roles, workplaces and industries, collective participation can create something larger and more meaningful. The film uses music as a unifying language, connecting the diverse K Raheja Corp ecosystem with the wider spirit of Independence Day.
