The K.C. Mahindra Education Trust announces a new initiative under Project Nanhi Kali, integrating football into the curriculum for underprivileged schoolgirls across India. Created by Ogilvy, this campaign highlights the Trust's commitment to holistic education, combining academics with vital life skills gained through sports.
Project Nanhi Kali encourages underprivileged girls to complete ten years of schooling. In line with the National Education Policy, which supports the inclusion of sports in education, the program is introducing girls to football.
The campaign film captures the transformative power of football, showcasing real-life stories of girls gaining confidence, leadership, and self-worth through the sport. It emphasizes the role of sports in teaching values like teamwork, perseverance, and resilience.
To date, Project Nanhi Kali has positively impacted the lives of over 700,000 girls across India.
