Unilever to Acquire Men’s Grooming Brand Dr. Squatch

Unilever has announced its agreement to acquire Dr. Squatch, a fast-growing men’s personal care brand, from Summit Partners. The acquisition supports Unilever’s strategy to expand into premium, high-growth segments.

Known for its natural, high-performance grooming products—ranging from soaps and deodorants to hair and skincare—Dr. Squatch has built a strong presence via D2C and retail channels across North America and Europe. The brand’s viral, social-first marketing, influencer collaborations, and limited-edition packs have driven significant consumer engagement and loyalty.

With a focus on unique scents and clean ingredients, Dr. Squatch complements Unilever’s existing portfolio. The deal is expected to close later this year, pending regulatory approvals. Financial details were not disclosed.
